Thank you for making a booking with Royal Porthcawl Golf Club.

Cancellation Policy

There are strictly no refunds unless the course is closed.

Gate Code

On arrival, enter the following code into the key pad at the gate: 1891

Catering

Catering hours are 8am to 3pm. Last orders are at 2.45pm.         

Handicap Index

Our handicap limit is 20.0 for Men and 30.0 for Women.

We politely request the name of each player, their Home Club and Handicap in advance.

Dress Code

Men are required to wear a shirt with a collar shirt, and it must always be tucked in. When wearing shorts, they must be tailored and worn with calf or knee length socks. Ladies are required to wear attire suitable for golf. Jeans are not allowed.

Golf shoes must not be worn in the Lounge, Dining Room, Sitting Room or Common Room. Headwear must be removed before entering the Clubhouse.

Men are required to wear Jacket and tie in the Dining Room for evening functions and Sunday lunch. Deck shoes may be worn in the bar without a sock. Ladies should comply with smart casual standards of dress. Jeans are not allowed.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones must not be used in the clubhouse. In adverse weather, mobile phones may be used in the clubhouse foyer.

Dogs

Please be advised that we have a no dog policy throughout the premises.

Course Care

Please repair pitchmarks and divots. 

Rakes are to be left outside bunkers in areas where they are least likely to affect the movement of the ball.

Dormy House

If you are staying with us, please check-in at the Bar. Late check-ins can be arranged on 01656 782251 option 3.
